Vail Transit

Take the free bus to get to Vail Village, Lionshead Village and most anywhere else in Vail.

EV Charging Stations in Parking Garages

To accommodate the growing demand for electric vehicle charging capacity, six multi-port electric vehicle ChargePoint charging stations are available (5 in the Vail Village parking structure and 1 in the Lionshead garage). These stations are free to use and are able to produce up to an 80% charge within the 90 minutes of free parking time. For questions and help, call the parking supervisor at 970.479.2445.

Overflow Parking

South Frontage Road is used for free emergency parking only when the Vail Village and Lionshead Village structures are filled to capacity. Vehicles must be removed by 11 p.m.

Free Outlying Parking

Spaces are available daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the North Frontage Road in West Vail (#8 on map above) and Friday through Sunday west of West Vail roundabout (see #9 on map), serviced by the free bus. Also visit the calendar below for availability of free parking at Donovan Park, 1600 S. Frontage Road W., which is also serviced by the free bus.
