Welcome to Vail, the perfect setting for your favorite summer events. Come early and park your car for FREE in the Vail Village or Lionshead structure. New this summer, you’ll need to take a ticket at the entry and use your ticket to exit the structure for free parking. Vail’s free transit system is available to take you to your destination within minutes. All Town of Vail buses are ADA equipped and include a bike rack. Attractions and event venues are within walking or biking proximity along Vail’s recreation paths.

Parking on the South Frontage Road is available for overflow parking until 11 p.m. after both the Vail Village and Lionshead parking garages are full.

Take a ticket to park free

Access to events in Ford Park include the following options:

  • Catch the in-town bus to Ford Park via Vail Valley Drive to accommodate daily access to the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens and the Vail Nature Center. Operating daily from 9am to 9pm, May 29th through Mid-November, the loop route includes stops in Lionshead and Vail Village with a turnaround at Ford Park.
  • Village-to-Village Express bus between Ford Park, Vail Village and Lionshead via South Frontage Road will be in use during all paid parking days at Ford Park.
  • $10 parking at the Ford Park lot* (140 spaces), 500 South Frontage Rd.
  • $10 parking at the Vail Athletic/Soccer Field lot* (55 spaces).

  • Privately operated garages open to the general public. Prices vary at each location depending upon availability and time of year.
