Welcome to Vail, the perfect setting for your favorite summer events. Come early and park your car for FREE in the Vail Village or Lionshead structure. Vail’s free transit system is available to take you to your destination within minutes. All Town of Vail buses are ADA equipped and include a bike rack. Attractions and event venues are within walking or biking proximity along Vail’s recreation paths.

Parking on the South Frontage Road is available for overflow parking until 11 p.m. after both the Vail Village and Lionshead parking garages are full.

Vail Village & Lionshead Parking Structures

Take a ticket to park free Daytime Parking:
For free daytime parking, take a ticket as you enter the structures. Then insert the ticket when exiting and the gate will open.
Overnight Parking Overnight Parking:
There is a $35 fee for overnight parking in the structures. Or park free for up to 72 hours at the Red Sandstone Garage. Details here vail.gov.com/parking

Ford Park Access Options

  • Free daily bus service via in-town extended route operating 9am to 9pm May 31 – mid-November
  • Ford Park Express from the parking structures during all paid parking days at Ford Park *
  • $10 close-in parking at the Ford Park lot * (140 spaces)
